Course Summary
This course aims to reduce the stigma related to homelessness and mental health in order to break down barriers to care and reduce gaps in healthcare related to this population. It discusses the current health status of individuals experiencing homelessness in Colorado and how to apply best practices to all interactions with individuals experiencing homelessness.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Recognize the current health status of individuals experiencing homelessness in Colorado
- Express an increase in self-efficacy for working with individuals experiencing homelessness
- Apply best practices to all interactions with individuals experiencing homelessness
Learning Audience
The learners for this training are behavioral health service providers, social workers, counselors, peer support specialists, and other professionals who support individuals with substance use and behavioral health conditions.
