Children, Youth, and Families Experiencing Homelessness or Houselessness
This course aims to establish a foundational understanding of the challenges faced by children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness. Learners will explore the unique impacts on each family member, delve into the dynamics of family functioning amid homelessness, and examine how families navigate, operate, and adapt as a unit in the face of these challenges. Additionally, the course will address the varying levels of barriers and access to support and care, both at the individual and family unit levels, providing insights into the complexities of addressing the diverse needs of families experiencing homelessness.
